Afaf Tabbalah is a prominent member of Egypt’s media community whose children’s literate work has been hailed as a sophisticated diversion from the mainstream. Tabbalah was head of Nile Drama, and Egyptian satellite channel and later supervised Egyptian broadcasting between 1994-1995.
