“Café Riche: Unfolding Egypt's History"

This event was held at the Cairo Book Fair with our 2022 Literature Laureate Maisoon Saqer, Dr. Kamal Mugaith, Researcher at the National Center for Educational Research and Development, and Dr. Hussien Hammouda, Professor of Modern Literary Criticism at Cairo University.

They explored Egypt's rich cultural history and delved into the award-winning book "Café Riche: An Eye on Egypt". They discussed the cultural and social transformations that have shaped modern Egypt, and learnt about the prominent intellectuals and creators who have left their mark on the country's history.
