n collaboration with Sea of Culture Foundation, our guests got a closer look at the book “Where to, O Poem?” in a session with Ali Jaafar Alallaq, the SZBA 2023 Literature winner. The book is a significant addition to the Arabic autobiography genre, particularly due to its focus on Al-Allaq’s poetic experience. Through the book, readers can gain insight into the relationship between the poet and his work, as well as the challenges of the Iraqi and Arab cultural landscape for over fifty years.
