Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the 13th edition of the Sheikh Zayed Book Award was held in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, who presented the Awards to the winners in seven categories.

The ceremony took place at the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum on 25 April 2019 and was attended by key intellectual and literary figures, alongside ministers, senior officials and diplomats.
