Write Your Life: Pen, Voice and Story

Date: July 12, 2020, 18:00 - 19:00
Location: Live Virtual Seminar on Zoom

In partnership with Liverpool Arab Arts Festival, an online Memoir/Personal History writing workshop titled ‘Write Your Life: Pen, Voice, and Story’ was delivered by Ibtisam Barakat, Sheikh Zayed Book Award, 2020 Children’s Literature winner.

The writing workshop helped participants explore who they are on paper, and focused on “voice” to help them in overcoming emotional blocks, and offering starting tools that will help them embark on their writing journeys joyfully and successfully.

The workshop saw the participants write and have the time to converse and ask questions, and share some of what they wrote.
